Happy Saturday everyone! Its a beautiful day, make sure you get out, enjoy the sunshine and remember to make the most of each and every day.

1.Something, such as a sudden creative act or idea, that is inspired.
2.Divine guidance or influence exerted directly on the mind and soul of humankind.

I'm starting a new "weekly" inspirations blog. I say "weekly" because more than likely I only have time once in a week to sit down and write a blog or two. I might surprise you and come out with TWO inspiration blogs in one week! I want to share what stirs in my mind and brings me joy or excitement. I also want to hear from you! What inspires you? We might even be inspired by the same things?!?!
I come across things everyday that inspire me in one way or another. It may be personal, professional or something completely random!
I started cleaning out our second bedroom that stored everything that won't fit into out tiny house or one car garage. Once it was cleared out I started and FINALLY finished painting it! I didn't just do two coats of the same color.....I had a genius idea of painting two different shades of "off white" vertical stripes in different sheens! To say it was a ton of work is an understatement. I had to paint the whole room (about 2-3 hours) the first shade, then tape off and putty the edges of the tape (about 2 hours) to paint the stripes. So it took roughly 6 hours and two to three weekends to finish the "painting" project, but it was soooo worth all that work because I LOVE it!!
The stripes make the room look so elegant and sophisticated, perfect for an office/craft room (one day a nursery) for me! I think I compromised and made the rest of the house a little more manly or gender neutral for my husband. However this room is allllll mine :) sorry babe! Therefore it is going to be all things pretty.
This brings me to my inspiration for the day. My lovely tea cup and saucer, what is more pretty or girly then this?!?! Not that I want my office/craft room to look like a tea cup. I want it to be beautiful and dainty like a teacup.

if anyone has any suggestions, good finds for my office/craft room I would love to hear!
